Brian Schuessler, D.C.

Brian Schuessler, DC, is a personable and compassionate chiropractor in Niceville, Florida. As the founder of Pro-Active Medical Center, Dr. Schuessler has assembled a team of integrated health care professionals to provide the highest quality, conservative care possible. Dr. Schuessler and the team care for patients of all ages using regenerative medicine, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and physical therapy. The team provides specialized treatment options, including MLS laser, therapeutic ultrasound, and custom orthotics. Dr. Schuessler also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.

Dr. Schuessler completed his undergraduate education at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. While there, Dr. Schuessler earned his bachelor’s degree in general science and was a member of the university’s boxing team. He then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, for his doctorate in chiropractic. Dr. Schuessler graduated magna cum laude as one of the top students in his class at Palmer, then relocated to Niceville to begin his practice in 2000.

Dr. Schuessler believes a team approach can be the most beneficial for patient outcomes and strives to work closely with primary care providers and specialists in the community so that patients receive the best care possible. In 2008, Dr. Schuessler became the first chiropractor in the area to become certified in manipulation under anesthesia (MUA) for the treatment of conditions of the spine, shoulder, hips, and pelvis.

As a sports medicine chiropractor, Dr. Schuessler has extensive training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries. He has first-hand experience of sports injuries as a high school and collegiate athlete and now as a powerlifting and strongman competitor. Dr. Schuessler also serves as a judge for the National Physique Committee (NPC) of Florida.

Dr. Schuessler is a proud husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family whenever he can.
