Shay Schuessler, B.S., L.M.T., C.A.

Mrs. Schuessler graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, LA with a degree in Business Administration and Finance in 2001. She was a Track & Field athlete while attending college, mainly long & triple jump, but also competed as an indoor pentathlete and an outdoor heptathlete. Shortly upon graduation, she received certification as a personal trainer from NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) where she practiced at Sandestin Fitness Center in Miramar Beach, FL. While at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, she also became a certified CPR & First Aid instructor where she taught these skills to all departments on the property. Mrs. Schuessler also received her license to practice massage therapy at the Soothing Arts School of Massage in Destin, FL in 2004 (MA41862) and has quality experience in both the spa & medical setting. Her latest certificaton was received from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa as a certified Chiropractic Assistant in 2006. Mrs. Schuessler maintains a very healthy & happy lifestyle. She has participated in local 5K and 10K events, as well as marathons, such as the Disney marathon in Orlando, FL and the local Seaside half marathon. She has competed in several NPC Figure & Physique shows including a few National level shows. She is also now an NPC amateur Competition Judge. She has been a Cross Country, Flag Football, and Track & Field Coach over the past few years for the local middle school and club.
